How CA works
Your convictions count. What you stand for influences those around you, and in turn they then influence others. Gradually the world begins to change, but it all starts with a few individuals like you who are willing to walk with AWYO to forge new paths.
AWYO works with communities to explore these norms and values and to affect collaborative change. By reaching people in their homes through community-based structures, advocacy We are asking you to do the same.
AWYO believes that young men and women are more able to bring about positive change in their lives if they are personally empowered through education, economic self-sufficiency, and access to quality participatory leadership. This is a courageous and challenging statement in many of the communities in which we work. But to save lives, we must first change lives.
So, let us create the change together. Let us be strengthened by our convictions to support young men and women in need. And let us push forward to enact social change so that African women and youth around the world have access to the opportunities they need and deserve.
